Abstract in Russian:

This article describes various grounds used by scientists-criminalists in dealing with classification of legal expertise, it also provides the author’s point of view on this issue. In accordance with this point of view and based on various approaches to the question of classification, all legal expertise can be divided into five main classes: criminal, forensic medical, technical and engineering, engineering and economical and other examinations, which methodologies have not been developed enough as of the present moment.
